Naxal killings: Police gird up their loins

NARASARAOPET: In the aftermath of Naxalites shooting down Bollapalli mandal president Thumma Rami Reddy to death on Saturday and amidst impending danger from the former to leaders of different political leaders in the vicinity of Narasaraopet, the police have girded up their loins.
Special police parties have been undertaking intensive combing of villages and in Bollapalli forests for the extremists.
Thorough search of incoming as well as outgoing vehicles is going on.
Police are also conducting searches for Naxalites in residential areas and colonies of towns such as Piduguralla and Vinukonda besides Narasaraopet.
