Eleven Maoists martyred in Andhra Pradesh encounters

Of late one can see that Andhra Pradesh has been witnessing large scale
encounter's of top maoists. This has been possible because
of the large number of security personnel deployed where they outnumber
the maoist's in the minimum ration of 1:20 .Which means there are 20 security personnel deployed to capture every single maoist.

The grey hyena's are the worst of the lot they never target any maoists
unless they are sure they outnumber them in a ratio of 1:50.

Morever in the last one year the informer network has been built
up extensively this has been possible because of the large funds
the state government has granted to the security forces.

Every police station in Andhra Pradesh has a secret account
that is routinely used to bribe informers.
The police do not need to give any accounts on how they
spend this money. They siphon of half of it and the remaining
half is distributed to the informers.
This account is also constantly replenished by state funds
and run's into lakh's of rupees for each police station.

The informers are shown the greed of money and if they do not
fall for that then they are coerced by force or blackmailing.

The manner in which the Maoists in Andhra Pradesh have been
driven against the wall it is extremely likely they
will do something dramatic in the day's to come.

They may suceed in crushing all the flowers
but that will not stop the spring from coming.

Lal Salaam ! to these 11 Martyrs who lived and died for
the oppressed, their deaths are sure to inspire
thousands to take up the cause of the Indian revolution.

“ The tyrant dies and his rule is over,
the martyr dies and his rule begins ”

Eleven Maoists Martyred in Andhra Pradesh encounters

KADAPA/WARANGAL: The Maoist movement suffered a minor setback with the killing of 11 rebels, including CPI (Maoist) state committee member and Rayalaseema divisional committee secretary, Y Appa Rao alias Obulesu, in two separate encounters with police on Friday.

The main encounter took place in the dense forests of Gopavaram near Badvel in Kadapa district where nine Maoists, including five women were killed. The prime target for the police was Obulesu alias Raghavulu alias Zaheer.

Police said Obulesu survived two encounters in the neighbouring districts, in the recent past, in which six Maoists were gunned down.

Kadapa SP Y Nagi Reddy said around six teams of police began combing operations in the forests three days ago, following information that Rayalaseema divisional committee members were spotted along the Kadapa-Nellore border.

He said the police identified the Maoist camp at around 11.30 am and asked them to surrender. When the Maoists began firing at the police, the police personnel returned fire killing nine of them, the SP added.

Obulesu's wife Prasanthi was also killed in the encounter. Others killed included Anantapur district secretary Mallikarjuna, Kadapa committee member Ashok, Bharathi, Chitravathi Dalam commander Rambabu, Dalam members Sandhya, Mani and Sujatha.

The police seized one AK-47 assault rifle, three SLRs, four .303 rifles, two other riffles, one 8 mm pistol, one SBBL gun and ammunition besides a few diaries, kitbags and other literature.

In another shootout in Warangal, the police killed two guerrillas of CPI-Marxist Leninist Praja Pratighatana, a splinter group.
